Vintage 1983 Mr. Peanut Clear Glass Canister Planters Jar With Lid. This jar is in great shape! Classic Americana. Has original lid and the plastic seal has no cracks in it. Comes off and on with ease, but is also a snug fit, for preserving goods. Great for display. Also a must have for collectors. The jar is about 8 1/4" tall with the lid. The lid is a little over 2 inches tall and 2 3/4 " wide. The jar is about 3 1/2 inches across the bottom. Mr. Peanut logo is clearly visible on the bottom of glass canister. There is a mold stamp of 20, to his left, 3 up top, and a circled B to the right, and a small circled R for trademark. The lid has diamond shapes, as does the lower molded into it (see pics), as does the body w/ fan shapes uniform around the top of the jar portion. The lid is tapered towards the neck. Other versions of this vintage collectible, have more of the bubble top, this is a cleaner line. V
