If your faucet handles have seen better days, you can bring your Tub/Shower faucet back to life by replacing the handles. And, if you aren’t sure what kind of faucet you have, universal fit handles will fit most faucet brands. This handle is designed with a vice-grip-style adapter that is tightened onto the faucet stem therefore gripping and enabling the new handle to fit without an exact OEM faucet stem match. These handles include the vise-grip adapter that will tighten onto the faucet stem. Note that this type of vise-grip adapter will only fit on top of stems that have “splines” or replace handles that have “indentions” in the handle broach. This will NOT fit a smooth type of plastic cartridge-type stem or metal ball type of handle mechanism that has a smooth shape like a “D”, “circle” or “Square” shape. Be sure to read the installation instructions to determine if you need to use the spacer as this depends on how far your current stem protrudes out from the wall. Replacing your worn out, dingy handles will restore your tub and shower with a more economical solution than replacing the entire fixture.
