This is a very straight forward and delightful book. It is composed of the stories and memories of life over greater than 50 years. Some of the times were happy, others troublesome or worrying. This is a beautiful snapshot of life in America for a middle American family.This is in the author's own words...Although, writing a book may or may not be one of my accomplishments in life. But perhaps someday when I have moved to heaven our children and grandchildren will see the folder that contains these stories, and even enjoy reading about the memories we had as a family.Most of them are presented as they were written. Even the bad grammar and misspelled words have not all, been corrected.In the first several years of our marriage there were times when I would express myself on paper when I couldn’t talk to anyone. It was like therapy. I was either worried, or happy or sad or thankful or just wanted to express myself with paper and pen about my life’s journey, hence the title, Bits & Pieces, Odds & Ends, and This & That. Read more
