The N-3B jacket, a longer version of the N-2B, was developed for crew personnel subjected to extreme cold arctic climates. It is mainly issued to aircrews assigned to troop transports, helicopters or strategic bombers. This warm and comfortable, water and stain resistant, N-3B jacket is made of durable 210D nylon twill. It goes with a high closing zip front with additional button closure, and features two front cargo pockets, two hand warmer pockets, all with press stud fastening, one pocket on the left sleeve, a reinforced elbows, waist drawstring and a large adjustable snorkel hood with fleece lining and faux fur trim.
